Project Information

This planning proposal seeks to amend the Cessnock Local Environmental Plan 2011 to include a clause under Schedule 1 - Additional permitted uses to permit the site to be used as a depot associated with a ballooning business.

If it proceeds, this planning proposal will allow the continued use of the site for storage of buses, trailers and balloons. Gateway determination has been issued by the Department and the period for consultation with state government agencies has now concluded. The next stage is for the planning proposal to go on public exhibition.
