Dive in - help us plan for our pools!

About the project

Cessnock City Council is seeking to hear general feedback from our community about what is on offer at Cessnock Pool and Branxton Pool.

We are checking in with our community and pool users to ensure the focus of our pool services meets current and future needs. We want to make sure that your experience at our pool facilities meets expectations as much as possible, that we are planning for population growth, that we are providing services to grow a healthy and connected community and ensure we are maintaining a necessary balance of efficient and sustainable operations.

Help us shape the future of your local pools by telling us how you use our pools, what you like and what we could improve!

Community engagement

Council is seeking feedback from all users and potential users by undertaking wide community engagement and holding conversations with dedicated user groups.

Planned engagement activities include:

  • Emails to pool customers
  • Social media posts via Council's Facebook Page and Facebook community groups in proximity to the Pools
  • e-Newsletter promotion through Councils current subscriber databases
  • Hard copy surveys located at Council's Administration Building and Cessnock Library
  • Meeting invitations to user groups
  • Community pop-ups
  • Attendance at community events
