Project Background
Cessnock City Council is working with landscape architects from Moir Studio to develop a concept plan for improvements to Ellalong Park, and we want your input!
Ellalong Park is a local park situated between Ellalong Public School and Ellalong Cemetery. It currently features a small playground, picnic shelter, and a half basketball court, while the open space north of the playground is frequently used for informal exercise and dog walking.
To ensure the park meets the needs of the community now and into the future, we are seeking feedback from local residents and park users to help shape the design and facilities.
Project Update (May 2025)
The community came together to give feedback at the in person pop up on Thursday 20 February 2025 at Ellalong Park. Moir Studio took the feedback and incorporated it into the draft concept plan that is now open for submissions from the community.
