What are the next steps?
The next step for Council is to develop a Floodplain Risk Management Study followed by a Floodplain Risk Management Plan for the Greta and Black Creek Nulkaba to Branxton (Stage 2) catchments.
We have engaged a consultant to assist with the development of our Floodplain Risk Management Study and are currently investigating how flooding affects our local community which requires early discussions with members of the community in Greta and Black Creek.
