Notice is given that Cessnock City Council in accordance with the New South Wales Roads Act 1993 is seeking public comment in regards to a road naming proposal in connection with the development located at Lot 34 Government Road, Cessnock NSW 2325.

The proposal names include;

Golden Whistler Road

Road Name Origin:

Birds native to the nearby Werakata National Park

Rose Robin Road

Road Name Origin:

Birds native to the nearby Werakata National Park

Should you intend to make a submission in writing you, may do so by 5:00pm on Thursday 11 September 2025. Please quote “Road Naming Proposal - Government Road, Cessnock”. Submissions should be addressed to The General Manager and can be submitted via:

Any views expressed in written submissions will be considered by Council before a final decision is made.
