Notice is given that Cessnock City Council in accordance with the New South Wales Roads Act 1993 is seeking public comment in regards to a road naming proposal in connection with stages 1-8 of Caphilly, Huntlee. This stage of the subdivision includes the creation of twelve (12) new public roads.

The proposal names include;

  • Alto Lane
  • Artisan Road
  • Arts Lane
  • Caphilly Parkway
  • Cappella Street
  • Craftsman Road
  • Emporium Drive
  • Expo Lane
  • Gala Lane
  • Guild Lane
  • Market Fair Road
  • Music Lane

Road Name History

The road names have been selected by the developer as they are reflective of the School of Arts Hall which was built within the Hunter Region in 1905.
