Notice is given that Cessnock City Council in accordance with the New South Wales Roads Act 1993 is seeking public comment in regard to a road naming proposal in connection with the Regrowth Kurri Kurri Project.
The proposal name includes;
Premier Boulevard, Loxford
Proposed Road Name History
Premier has English heritage being associated with the English “Premier” League (EPL). Football is the primary sport in England and hence we’ve acknowledged this within our street naming.
Premier also by definition means “first in importance, order, or position; leading” which we believe would be great for the development noting the importance of the road being flood free access, hence the road is premier (First in importance) through the subdivision.
