Information
Pursuant to Part 8, of the Roads Act 1993, Council gives notice of its intention to seek consent from Transport for NSW, through the Local Traffic Committee process, for the regulation of traffic at the intersection of Old Buttai Road and the unnamed Quarry Access Road, Buttai, as follows:
Change of intersection priority resulting in:
The western leg of Old Buttai Road and the unnamed Quarry Access Road being the major road through the intersection;
The eastern leg of Old Buttai Road being the minor road through the intersection.
Give Way controls on the eastern leg of Old Buttai Road at the intersection with the unnamed Quarry Access Road.
Any person is entitled to make submissions to Transport for NSW with respect to the granting of such consent.
Council will ensure that any submissions received by it with respect to the application are forwarded to Transport for NSW.

Written submissions relating to the Regulation of Traffic should be forwarded to the General Manager, Cessnock City Council, PO Box 152 Cessnock 2325, endorsed “Regulation of Traffic – Old Buttai Road, Buttai”.
The closing date for submissions is 5pm Wednesday 1 November 2023.
