What areas are included in the study?

    The study covers all rural-zoned lands (RU2, RU3, RU4, RU5), rural villages, and scenic landscapes within Cessnock LGA. The Hunter Valley Vineyards District will be considered only for its landscape and scenic values.

    Will this strategy affect my property?

    The study is not proposing immediate zoning changes. However, it may inform future planning policies that guide development, agricultural activities, and environmental protections.

    How will my feedback be used?

    All feedback will be carefully considered and will inform the development of the strategy. A ‘What We Heard’ report will be published summarising key themes and how they are addressed.
