Council has received an application from Towns with Heart Inc. to conduct the Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival on Lang, Barton, Allworth and Hampden Streets Kurri Kurri, on the dates below. Council intends to seek consent from Transport for NSW, pursuant to Division 2 of Part 8, of the Roads Act 1993, for the regulation of traffic, by means of:
Temporary road closures
Parking restrictions
The regulations will be in place for the following dates:
Saturday 25 March 2023, 5am - 4pm
Sunday 26 March 2023, 5am - 4pm
Council appreciates that the regulation of traffic may affect road users within the immediate and surrounding areas. You are welcome to view the relevant Traffic Control Plans:
Written submissions relating to the Regulation of Traffic can be forwarded to the General Manager, Cessnock City Council, PO Box 152 Cessnock 2325, endorsed “Regulation of Traffic – Nostalgia Festival 2023”.
The closing date for submissions is 4.00pm on Wednesday 28 December 2022.
