Information
Council has received an application from Raging Empire for Roche Estate to conduct the Red Hot Summer Tour 2023 event scheduled for 25 March 2023 and Rod Stewart 2023 event scheduled for 1 April 2023 on Broke Road & McDonalds Road, Pokolbin. Council intends to seek consent from Transport for NSW, pursuant to Division 2 of Part 8, of the Roads Act 1993, for the temporary regulation of traffic, by means of:
40km/h speed limits;
Shoulder closures and parking restrictions;
Stop/Slow controls.
These regulations will be in place the following times:
Saturday 25 March 2023, 10am - midnight
Saturday 1 April 2023, 10am - midnight
Council appreciates that the regulation of traffic may affect road users within the immediate and surrounding areas. You are welcome to view the relevant Traffic Control Plans:
Written submissions relating to the Regulation of Traffic can be forwarded to the General Manager, Cessnock City Council, PO Box 152 Cessnock 2325, endorsed “Regulation of Traffic – Red Hot Summer Tour 2023” or “Regulation of Traffic – Rod Stewart 2023.
The closing date for submissions is 4.00pm on Wednesday 28 December 2022.
