Information
Pursuant to Part 8, of the Roads Act 1993, Council gives notice of its intention to seek consent from Transport for NSW, through the Local Traffic Committee process, for the regulation of traffic at the intersection of Kerlew Street and Occident Street, Nulkaba, as follows:
Closure of the northern length of Occident Street to all traffic at Kerlew Street;
Closure of Pinchen Street to all traffic at Kerlew Street;
Give Way controls and turn restrictions (right only) on the southern length of Occident Street at Kerlew Street; and
Give Way controls and turn restrictions (left only) on the slip lane from Kerlew Street to Occident Street (south).
Council appreciates that the regulation of traffic may affect road users within the immediate and surrounding areas. You are welcome to view the relevant Traffic Control Plans:
Written submissions relating to the Regulation of Traffic should be forwarded to the General Manager, Cessnock City Council, PO Box 152 Cessnock 2325, endorsed “Regulation of Traffic – Kerlew Street and Occident Street, Nulkaba”.
The closing date for submissions is 5pm Saturday 18 February 2023.
