Council advises that it has received an application from Wollombi Volunteer Bushfire Brigade and Wollombi School Community Education Trust to conduct the Wollombi Markets on Paynes Crossing Road Wollombi, on the dates below.
Monday 1 April 2024 – 6.00 AM to 4.00 PM
Monday 10 June 2024 – 6.00 AM to 4.00 PM
Council intends to seek consent from Transport for NSW, pursuant to Division 2 of Part 8, of the Roads Act 1993, for the regulation of traffic, by means of temporary speed reductions & parking restrictions.
Council appreciates that the regulation of traffic may affect road users within the immediate and surrounding areas.

Written submissions relating to the Regulation of Traffic should be forwarded to the General Manager, Cessnock City Council, PO Box 152 Cessnock 2325, endorsed “Regulation of Traffic – Wollombi Markets 2024”.
The closing date for submissions is 4 pm Friday 15 December 2023.
