Welcome to the Wollombi Road Upgrade Project Review of Environmental Factors (REF) exhibition webpage.  

Preferred design and public display of the REF 

The preferred design for the Wollombi Road Upgrade Project is now available and you can see it by clicking here.  

 The Wollombi Road Design Options Report includes an options assessment of both stage 1 and 2 (Abbotsford St to Vincent St) and illustrates how we have arrived at the preferred design.   

The REF for Stage 1 will be on public exhibition until 5pm Friday 3 May 2024. The document assesses the environmental impacts of the preferred design and the community is encouraged to have their say on the project during the exhibition period.  

Your feedback is important to us. By sharing your thoughts, you will contribute to an improved project that reflects the values and priorities of Cessnock residents.
