Share your thoughts and ideas before the exhibition period closes and you will go into the draw to win a native tree to beautify your garden.*
Your feedback will help shape our updated Community Strategic Plan, Local Strategic Planning Statement and other key strategic documents.
How to participate:
You can contribute to the discussion across our four open forums focused on our community, our economy, our environment, our leadership and our infrastructure.
Alternatively, you can send your overall 10-year vision for the city direct before 4pm on Monday 30 September, 2024 to our project team by:

Supplying personal information in your submission is required.
Consequence of non-provision
If you do not supply your personal information, Cessnock City Council cannot receive the submission or update you on the progress of the Planning Proposal.
Disclosure
Your information may also be disclosed to the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, and any other relevant public agency that has an interest in the Planning Proposal.

Tree Giveaway terms and Conditions
Introduction
Cessnock City Council is pleased to offer a tree giveaway to randomly chosen participants who voluntarily provide feedback for Together Cessnock 2035, our Community Strategic Plan. By participating in this initiative, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Eligibility
- Participation: The tree giveaway is open to randomly chosen residents of Cessnock City Council who have provided feedback for the Together Cessnock 2035 Community Strategic Plan.
- Age Requirement: Participants must be 18 years or older. Participants under 18 must have consent from a parent or guardian.
- Residency: Participants must reside within the Cessnock City Council local government area.
Giveaway Details
- Feedback Submission: Participants must take part the feedback forums available on the Together Cessnock 2035 project website.
- Limitations: One tree per household. Quantities are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
- Tree Species: The specific species of trees available for the giveaway will be determined by Cessnock City Council and may vary.
Collection Collection: Participants will be notified of the collection details, including date, time, and location, via email provided in the feedback form.
Privacy and Consent
- Data Use: Personal information collected as part of the feedback process will be used solely for the purposes of this initiative and in accordance with Cessnock City Council’s privacy policy.
- Consent to Communication: By participating, you consent to receive communications from Cessnock City Council regarding the tree giveaway and other related community engagement activities.

- No Substitutions: Trees cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods and services.
- Liability: Cessnock City Council is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to property arising from participation in the tree giveaway.
