Streets and houses in Cessnock

Project Information

Council is proposing the construction of a shared pathway connecting Log of Knowledge Park to Abermain St in Pelaw Main. This initiative is being undertaken by Cessnock City Council to enhance connectivity and provide numerous advantages to our local residents and businesses.

Location of Shared Pathway

The shared pathway will serve as a connection between Pelaw Main village and Log of Knowledge Park. It will link to Kurri Kurri Sports Ground and extend onwards to Kurri Kurri CBD. As other proposed projects are completed, this pathway will offer seamless connections to Kurri Kurri township and the Richmond Vale Rail Trail. The placement of this pathway aims to improve safer connections, accessibility and promote a healthy more active lifestyle within our community.

The council has considered multiple routes for the shared pathway, and the preferred path is signaled in blue (or option 2) on the concept plans
