Proposed Road Naming - Rodeo Drive

Notice is given that Cessnock City Council in accordance with the New South Wales Roads Act 1993 is seeking public comment in regards to a road naming proposal in connection with a subdivision at 48 Averys Lane, Heddon Greta. This stage of the subdivision includes the create of one (1) new public road.

The proposed name includes;

Rodeo Drive - The applicant has suggested "Rodeo Drive" in honor of the Hollywood hotspot for the road being developed on the former Heddon Greta Drive Inn site, commemorating its local history.

How to make a submission

Should you intend to make a submission in writing you, may do so by 5:00pm on 6 October 2023. Please quote “Proposed Road Naming - Rodeo Drive”. Submissions should be addressed to The General Manager and can be submitted via:

Any views expressed in written submission will be considered by Council before a final decision is made.
