Sustainability in Cessnock

Due to our high consumption, it has been estimated we would need 4.6 Earths if everyone lived like the average Australian. It is this overconsumption (packaged & processed food, clothing, electrical items, fuel, toys etc) that is having a huge impact on the natural environment and contributing to environmental issues such as climate change, pollution and species loss.

We are asking our community to take part in a survey to give us an understanding of what people are doing well, what they would like to improve, and what events that they would like to see happen in the area around living more sustainably.
