What is the Shared Path Project?
The shared path project(External link) is an initiative of Council that aims to enhance the health and wellbeing of residents in Cessnock by encouraging pedestrian and cycling activity along the path. To date, path construction has provided connections to Bridges Hill Park, Manning Park and the dog park, Drain Oval and Nulkaba Primary School.
Has there been any community engagement on this project?
Previous Community Engagement regarding projects relating to this project were the proposed pedestrian refuges on Allandale Road and Maitland Road that were on exhibition from 19 October - 22 November 2023.
