Project Information
Cessnock City Council has engaged landscape architects Gallagher Studio to develop a Masterplan for Drain Sports Oval in Cessnock. The Masterplan offers an opportunity to develop a comprehensive plan that meets the needs of residents and sports clubs into the future.
Community members and site stakeholders were engaged through a survey in January 2023 and were then asked to provide feedback on design ideas that were shared in May 2023.
The information and feedback provided has been used to inform the Drain Sports Oval Draft Masterplan.

At this point in the project, we are encouraging people to complete the online survey(Hyperlink) so that the landscape architects can use the feedback to develop design principles and ideas which we will use to further consult and discuss with the community.
If you haven’t already, we would love you to put these ideas into the survey (Hyperlink). There you can also enter your details to get notified to give comments on the design ideas.
