Temporary Regulation of Traffic: Cessnock Stomp Festival 2023
Consultation has concluded
Council advises that it has received an application from Cessnock Business Chamber to conduct the Cessnock Stomp Festival at Vincent Street, Edward Street, Cooper Street, Hall Street & Charlton Street, Cessnock scheduled for 29 October 2023.
Council intends to seek consent from Transport for NSW, pursuant to Division 2 of Part 8, of the Roads Act 1993, for the regulation of traffic, by means of:
Road Closures:
- Vincent Street from Maitland Road to Aberdare Road;
- Edward Street from Cumberland Street to Vincent Street;
- Cooper Street from Cumberland Street to Charlton Street;
- Hall Street from Cumberland Street to Charlton Street; and
- The Charlton Street Shared Zone.
Council appreciates that the regulation of traffic may affect road users within the immediate and surrounding areas.
Date of the event: Sunday 29 October 2023 – 8.00 AM to 11.59 PM
