Consultation has concluded
Council advises that it has received an application from Cessnock Business Chamber to conduct the Cessnock Stomp Festival at Vincent Street, Edward Street, Cooper Street, Hall Street & Charlton Street, Cessnock scheduled for 29 October 2023.
Council intends to seek consent from Transport for NSW, pursuant to Division 2 of Part 8, of the Roads Act 1993, for the regulation of traffic, by means of:
Road Closures:
Vincent Street from Maitland Road to Aberdare Road;
Edward Street from Cumberland Street to Vincent Street;
Cooper Street from Cumberland Street to Charlton Street;
Hall Street from Cumberland Street to Charlton Street; and
The Charlton Street Shared Zone.
Council appreciates that the regulation of traffic may affect road users within the immediate and surrounding areas.
Date of the event: Sunday 29 October 2023 – 8.00 AM to 11.59 PM
